enabling iPhone tethering on Orange
Here is how carrier free charge tethering looks and is done with Orange Romania
rename ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Carrier Support/Orange_ro.ipcc to Orange_ro.zip extract and enter Payload and bundle dirs , open Carrier.plist
edit the apns section like in the screenshot , optionally edit the other 2 plists changing BundleVersion from 2.5 to 5.0, save and close all plists
compress the Payload dir an rename the archive to .ipcc , alt+click Restore in itunes and select it after typing
defaults write com.apple.iTunes carrier-testing -bool TRUE
in terminal then just reboot the iphone
i have tested both usb and bluetooth , working great , the ipcc file is atached

Salut,
Am un abonament orange special ptr iphone cel de 12 euro (date si sms). Ma intrebam daca apn folosit de tine aici o sa imi ia din acel abonament sau o sa ma taxeze suplimentar ptr traficul cu aceste setari.

P.S. Daca mi-ai trimite un mail cu rasp ar fi ideal.
Nu lucrez la Orange deci nu am cum sa stiu , daca pot detecta ca traficul e din tethering ar putea sa adauge o suprataxa.
Salut, am o cartela prepay cu 500 Mb/Luna cu orange si as dori sa folosesc thetering -ul. Ma poate poate ajuta cineva?
Pt Alex Lupea – conexiunea la internet se face prin apn internet, orange nu a creat un apn special pt iphone. Raspunsul la intrebarea ta: da, iti va consuma din abonament.
Ps – puteai sa ma suni sa iti zic asta :)))
